After agreeing your purchase instructions, an advance deposit is required before bidding. Full vehicle payment becomes due after a successful bid.

We coordinate shipping and customs clearance through licensed clearing partners for an agreed service fee. Delivery is typically 6–8 weeks from a successful bid, subject to shipping schedules and customs processing.

How do I start?
Fill in your name, contact details, and the vehicle make/model you're interested in, then send the prepared enquiry through WhatsApp. Karafats will source options and send you an estimated landing cost on WhatsApp.
Do I need to pay before you bid?
Yes. An advance deposit is required before we place a bid on your behalf.
What happens if the bid is unsuccessful or exceeds my budget?
Your deposit is held and rolled over to bid on another available lot within your budget, rather than refunded.
What happens after a successful bid?
Full payment for the vehicle becomes due, and we proceed to truck, ship, and clear it to your doorstep.
How long does delivery take?
Typically 6–8 weeks from a successful bid to doorstep delivery.
Do you handle customs clearance?
Yes, clearance coordination is included as part of the complete service.
BEFORE YOU PROCEED
Import terms
Read these alongside the quotation and transaction-specific arrangements shared with you. Contact us with any questions before giving instructions or making payment.
1. Deposit
An advance deposit is required before Karafats places a bid on your behalf. If a bid is unsuccessful or exceeds your budget, the deposit is held and rolled over to bid on another lot within your budget, rather than refunded.
2. Full payment
Full payment for the vehicle is due immediately upon a successful bid.
3. Vehicle condition
Vehicles are sourced and bid for based on the auction listing and condition report shared with you at the time. Karafats is not liable for undisclosed mechanical issues not reflected in that listing, since vehicles are sold as-is by the originating auction house.
4. Cost estimates
Landing cost estimates shared via WhatsApp are estimates only. Final costs are confirmed once duties and clearing charges are assessed by Nigeria Customs Service.
5. Delivery timeline
Delivery is estimated at 6–8 weeks from a successful bid, subject to shipping schedules and customs processing. Karafats is not liable for delays caused by customs, port congestion or circumstances beyond its control.
6. Liability and clearance
Karafats coordinates customs clearance through licensed clearing partners. Its liability as a procuring and coordinating agent is limited to proven negligence in its own handling and does not extend to the vehicle’s condition, the auction house’s actions or delays caused by government agencies.
