Personal effects, household items, student luggage, and business cargo.

How long does shipping take?

We provide an estimated timeframe for the selected route and shipping service with your quotation. Typically, it depends on collection, carrier schedules, customs processing, and final delivery. We keep you updated at every stage.

Do you handle clearance?

Yes. We coordinate export documentation and customs clearance through licensed clearing partners.

Can I send small packages?

Yes. Our groupage service allows cost-saving export of smaller consignments.

BEFORE YOU PROCEED

Shipping terms

Read these alongside the quotation and transaction-specific arrangements shared with you. Contact us with any questions before giving instructions or making payment.

1. Shipment acceptance

A packing list describing all items in the shipment must be submitted so prohibited or restricted items can be screened before shipping. Submission of a packing list does not mean the shipment has been accepted.

2. Quotation and final price

The rate request tool collects details for a human quotation; it does not produce a price. Karafats verifies shipment details, actual weight and any applicable dimensional weight before confirming charges. The final invoice identifies included freight charges, exclusions and any additional charges where known.

3. Service responsibilities

Karafats coordinates the agreed freight forwarding service, including customs clearance through licensed clearing partners. Liability for loss, damage or delay is limited to proven negligence in Karafats’ own handling and does not extend to the acts of airlines, shipping lines, customs authorities or courier partners engaged to carry out the shipment, provided reasonable care was taken in selecting them.

4. Loss, damage and non-delivery

Report damage, missing items or non-delivery promptly using the business contact channels. Any claim for loss or damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by the original packing list.

5. Value and insurance

Declaring a value does not itself purchase insurance or establish automatic compensation. The quotation must state whether insurance is included or available and explain applicable coverage and claim terms.

6. Timing and disruption

Karafats is not liable for delays caused by customs inspections, port congestion, strikes, weather or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
